Artist’s Statement

My Book Nook kit has stemmed from my interest in quirky objects and my love of reading. The kit has a large variety of pre-made interchangeable pieces that enable you to emulate multiple environments with one base. Not only does it function as a bookshelf decoration, but it is also a way for someone to be able to use their creative energy, setting up a variety of make-believe scenarios. The pieces cater to various genres and are easy to switch between the multiple dioramas within the kit.
