Artist’s Statement

My intention for this project was to create a piece of furniture (table) with built in lighting, speaker system, possibly storage to reduce the amount of space within a place whilst being aesthetically pleasing and functional as well as creating a warm fun vibe for users. With the owner being able to control the lighting within the table, the lights can switch to fit the theme of the room. During this project I will be focusing on limiting the amount of cables used in this item to be created and combining all skills I have learnt.
