Artist’s Statement

These dreamscapes allude to the ephemeral and spiritual rather than the concrete. Logic is disrupted as figures float past the cloud-like forms.  Manipulation of scale and surface contributes to the transcendence of rationality applicable to dreams. Are they the dreamers in the dream or are they the dream?
