Artist’s Statement

I designed my table to be spacious enough for 8 to 12 people to sit comfortably around in a small, restricted place. It is aesthetically pleasing, and I have considered ergonomic factors. The table has a combination of a natural and industrial feel overall, enhanced by the timber grain and colour. One of my core functions was for the table to be durable and no need for tablecloths. The table has an adjustable and disassembled aspect of enabling the table to meet the customers’ needs for any situation, from large to small gatherings.
