Artist’s Statement

My brief was to design an aesthetically pleasing coffee table to replace the existing old coffee table at home. This coffee table will be the first thing you see as you enter our house and I wanted it to be striking. The style I wanted was modern and for it to be a focal point in our living room. I designed the table to create a calm, relaxing atmosphere through its design and shape. The style is modern, with an aesthetically pleasing pattern on the surface to enhance the look and create interest. The glow in the in dark aspect is fun and unique.
